Where'd my summer go?

Waking up at 5 sucks. Seriously. I want to be like everyone else that gets to sleep in on days they don't work.

Bearface hit 30 yesterday, and I think I'm past the devil that is Gnomer. I'm slowly getting my other toons(pally and rogue) at least to level 20, which makes leveling so much easier. I'm not sure I like rogues. They're super squishy. My main is a mage, so I thought I knew what a glass cannon was. Guess not... Only being able to take on one mob at a time sucks. Maybe I'm just spoiled...

Starting new AH experiment. Just doing research at the moment. Here's hoping for big money. :)

Calculus exam tomorrow. Time for school. Blegh.

Goals

School started. I'm taking Calculus 2 over the summer. Its actually really fun. With all my free time, I'm actually being able to play WoW. Bearface is level 28, but I'm kind of avoiding the LFD tool until Gnomer isn't on there anymore. I'm trying to get some more toons leveled up, and trying to keep constant with them. I want a rogue for The Insane, so I'm leveling a rogue. She's level 12 or so. I also have a baby pally, which is 15 I think. I'll get them both up to 30 before leveling up Bearface.

I hit Loremaster of Kalimdor on Ryn, along with Seeker. That was cool. I need a break from that before tackling Outlands. My distraction is my new gold scheme. We'll see how it goes. I also rolled a horde bank toon on my server to see what I can do on that front. She picked up herbalism and has about 3g worth of herbs on the AH right now. Trying one of these starting from nothing things. :)

Work sucks, but it works with my school schedule. This weekend, I'm going camping with a friend of mine for her birthday, which is going to be awesome. The original plan was to go camping and then drive 5 hours to go to another birthday which *COULDN'T BE MOVED*. So camping fell through(sort of?) because of the days we were going were moved, sort of. So, just the long drive party. Whatever. Then they cancel/change dates, after I had asked if they could when they first started making plans. I'm not taking off another weekend from work just to drive for 5 hours for people that didn't care enough to contact me when they first changed plans. Bah.

Of druids, and instances at level.

So, I recently started leveling a paladin and a druid on WoW. This will be my second paladin, and my first druid. My paladin hit level 14 last week, and my druid his 15 today. I'm trying to level them evenly.

So, the last time I ran an instance at level was back when I was leveling my horde pally. We ran Sunken Temple. Before that... Was probably back in BC or Vanilla.

So, my druid ran her first run through of Deadmines. I haven't been through Deadmines in YEARS. She dinged level 15 and queued for her first random dungeon. It was magical. It was hard, and exciting, and we wiped once. I wasn't annoyed, I wasn't pissed at band tanks or bad healers. I tanked my little level 15 bear butt off. I almost died several times, but the healer was awesome.

Even without the dungeon, I'm enjoying my druid. She will be a kitty, and then at 40, dual spec into a healer. Even though DPS wise, I only press one button, I have to keep track of stuff. I have to make sure I don't let myself die. With paladins, you just.. Don't die. You passively self heal, and only after you get into higher levels do you do any actual self healing. Still, it is few and far between. On my druid, I have to be a bear, jump out of bear, heal, be a bear, beat face. Its a new dynamic to the game that I haven't experienced. Having a main as a pure DPS class, its nice seeing how diverse a class can be.

Anywho, I need to finish my physics lab.

I live!

Hello, internet. How are you? I'm alright.

So, my birthday is in about a week, and I have gone and done many cool things this past week or so. Most notably being going to see Coheed and Cambria in concert. I've missed seeing these guys THREE times. Last year when I decided to spend my last $100 to go see the Distant Worlds Final Fantasy concert, and the two years before that when my lame boyfriend wouldn't go with me. I have a rule where I don't go to shows by myself. If I get messed up, who will help me drive home? Yeah. Bad.

So, hung out with Boyfriend after frantically doing calculus all day. No fun. Then, we ate sushi and playing a little video games and passed out. Then! I did physics the next day, then we went to Co&Ca, and it was awesome. Afterwards, we went to a local diner called Beth's Cafe, and a friend who met us there and I shared a 12-egg "triple bypass". There is something amazing about this place. They have omelets in two sizes, 6 and 12-egg. The triple bypass is ham, sausage, double swiss, and double american. OMNOMNOM. So, I had half of my half, and he had half of his half, so I had omelet for breakfast. And maybe also tomorrow. Yum.

Woke up early to get to work, work was okay. Spent time with my mom, and now I'm home. I'm doing my AH scan for WoW, and seeing if I can't sell off some crap. Bah. Tired. Calculus. Then bed.

Lecagy Part 2

So, new idea. I found some awesome skin replacements for The Sims 3. Like.. Purple and red and black and green and such. I'm going to make a bunch of oddly colored sims, throw them into a town, and go from there. I will still have my one sim family I will play, but my main interest is to see how much I can mess up the genetics of the town. So.. What better way to do this than with crazy fantasy skin tones and pointy ears?! Its an experiment is Darwinism.

Yay goodies.

So, I've been downloading some mods for The Sims 3. One thing I loved from TS1 and TS2 was all the custom content. Because, you know, the games were out longer. One of my favorites was custom careers. It makes it so much nicer to have your ideal sims when you can tweek careers and.. I dunno, have your goal to be a gamer. Its cool. So, been downloading some of those and getting ready for my Legacy game. I don't have time to play most "real games" with school and work, but TS3 is something I can pick up and put down without being like "Oh crap, where's a save point?!" I'm excited.

Why hello world.

I feel like I have a new outlet. Maybe I'll actually use it.

So hello, great big interwebs. My name is Morgan, I'm 20, and I'm a nerd. I'm going to school full time to be a microbiologist, and right now, I'm taking physics and calculus. Neither are as scary as people think they are.

This blog will hopefully be.. threefold, I suppose. Maybe fourfold. I want to start posting some WoW stuff which will maybe get my wanting to play, instead of just make money. I'm also about to start a Legacy game on The Sims 3. Maybe some ranting and raving....

As I said, I'm a nerd. I work at a Gamestop and have been into gaming since I was about 2. I still have fond memories of playing Sonic 2, and terrifying memories of playing Ecco the Dolphin on my Sega Genesis. I love old horror movies, zombies, Vincent Price, comic books, video games, table top games, and certain literary works. I would read more, but I just haven't had the time. I recently picked up A Clockwork Orange, which, is so far, excellent.

I have a super cool boyfriend. For now, I will simply call him Boyfriend. I torment him with nerdy things, like my new 42 shirt, my pokemans, and trying to explain limits. He's awesome.

Current vices: Pokemon Soul Silver, The Sims 3, and my love-hate relationship with WoW. I want to get back into some "real" gaming, but Gods know I don't have the time. I mean, Boyfriend and I picked up God of War 3 on release day and I still haven't beaten it! Bah. I'm a bad gamer. On the plus side, I have almost 80 pokemon in my pokedex.

Oh, I hate people. Like.. A lot. Working retail doesn't help much. My ASM at work and I were talking about using stupid people to make petrol to fuel our cars. It would be wonderful. And gas would be so cheap!

When I'm not at school, I'm at home doing school work, working on my Japanese, working, or sleeping. I really want to do more of that last one.

Let's get this train wreck rolling!
